Is God saying to you this morning, “Why do you call Me, Lord, Lord and do not do what I say?” Luke 6:46 “My sheep listen to My voice, I know them and they follow Me.” John 10:27 Nuggets of Truth: God/Jesus Christ/Holy Spirit clearly says that God knows His children whom He calls sheep and His children/sheep listen for His voice and do what He says!

"But the fruit of of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another." Galatians 5:22-26 Nuggets of Truth: Whoever accepts Jesus as their Savior and Lord receives the Holy Spirit seal and immediately becomes God's adopted daughter or son. Only the Holy Spirit produces the Holy Spirit Fruit in a child of God. If a child of God is not willing to crucify their fleshly passions and fleshly desires, they are disobeying God and are not living and walking by the Holy Spirit. Every identified adopted child of God willing crucifies their fleshly passions and fleshly desires! An adopted child of God is not to be boastful, challenging/provoking or envious of another person. Being boastful is self-promotion or self-centeredness by being conceited, proud and arrogant, with too much focus on self. Challenging or provoking others leads to making another person angry. If a person angers you, they can control you and can provoke you. Anger can be productive. "Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil and opportunity." Ephesians 4:26-27 If you become angry, do not be provoked to break fellowship with God by sinning. On the other hand, it is usually almost always better if you just quit being angry. "Cease from anger and forsake wrath; do not fret, it leads only to evildoing." Psalm 37: 8 Nuggets of Truth: Choose to stop being angry through acknowledging the Holy Spirit gift of self-control. If you almost never become angry, the enemy is going to have a hard time provoking you. As a beloved child of God I have possess and claim the Holy Spirit gift of self-control. Emotions can be very dangerous at times when expressed to an extreme. As you seek to avoid getting angry, you will experience greater peace. Implement renewing your mind daily by claiming the Holy Spirit fruit. Satan never gives up, but you can defeat him on every hand if you believe and apply the Word of God to your life. "You are from God little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He that is in you, than he/satan who is in the world." 1 John 4:4 Nuggets of Truth: The Holy Spirit residing within me is greater than satan and his hierarchy. Envy is resenting any advantage someone else has including their job, car, home, wealth, experience or success. The person resents the other person for what they possess and leads to covetousness thoughts and actions. This is when we want what they have and take steps to acquire what they have in a sinful way. "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say Rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of Peace will be with you." Philippians 4:4-9 "For the Son of God, Christ Jesus, who was preached among you by us--by me/Paul and Silvanus and Timothy--was not yes and no, but is yes in Christ Jesus. For as many as the promises of God, in Jesus they are yes; therefore also through Jesus is our Amen to the Glory of God through us. Now God who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God who also sealed us and gave us the Holy Spirit in our hearts as a pledge. But I call God as witness to my soul, that to spare you I did not come to Corinth. Not that we Lord it over your faith, but are workers with you for your joy; for in your faith you are standing firm." 2 Corinthians 1:19-24
"Currently, in my hands, I own approximately 400 books of my copyrighted book, "Beloved, I Love You" published in 2015. I purchased these books at a discounted price from Tate Publishing for book signing sales scheduled by Tate Publishing. Soon after my book, "Beloved, I Love You" was published, Tate Publishing chose to go against the Law and the Law shut down their business. None of this was a surprise to God since God knows everything including the future. Sin is directly against God and also against other people. I was surprised of this sin. Why? Because of what Tate Publishing wrote in the first page of my book. "Tate Publishing is committed to excellence in the publishing industry. The company reflects the philosophy established by the founders, based on Psalm 68:11 "The Lord gave the Word and great was the company of those who published it." I know satan comes only to steal, kill, and destroy my life and good work. But God sent Jesus to the earth to show me the Truth, the Way, and the Life. Although my book is no longer published or distributed to wholesalers who then, resell the book to brick & mortar stores and online retail stores nationally and internationally, I still have this book in my hands and not just one book, but 400 books! Therefore, since I am the only one who possesses my book, I believe God still has a good plan for my book through my online website store https://www.sherryleonard.com/store. Possibly even other opportunities with the passage of time. Where I once saw a problem: 400 books of Beloved, I Love You, God sees an opportunity because He knows what I possess in my hands. Remember Moses conversation with God. "Then Moses said, 'What if they will not believe me or listen to what I say? For they may say, 'The Lord is not has not appeared to you.' The Lord said to him, 'What is in your hand?' And Moses said, 'A staff.' Then God said, 'Throw it on the ground.' So Moses threw it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it. But the Lord said to Moses, 'Stretch out your hand and grasp it by its tail'--so He stretched out his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand--that they may believe the Lord, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you." Exodus 4:1-5 Nuggets of Truth: Beloved child of God, what has God given into your hands to bless other people Are you listening for God's voice and then, obeying what God tells you to do with what is in your hands? Yes or No? God gave me the title of my book and it's His message to the world's people every morning they awaken, "Beloved, I Love You"! God is Love, that is who God is! But to be a loving God, He allows every person to choose to either accept or reject His beloved Son, Jesus. With this choice comes accountability. And each person will be held accountable for accepting or rejecting Jesus and will be without excuse when they stand before Almighty God. Every person is searching for Love and since every person is on a search for Love, there's only one Spirit where Love arises: God Almighty, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, a Holy Everlasting Love relationship that satan cannot kill, steal, or destroy. And if satan does kill, Jesus is the Resurrection Life and can raise the killed person from the dead! "You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than He who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore, they speak as from the world, the world listens to them. We are from God; He who knows God listens to us; He who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another, for Love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is Love. By this the Love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through HIm. In this is Love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." 1 John 4:4-10 God instructs His children on Love since He is Love. And God's children know the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error. The Lord God chose to remind me what I possess in my hands and is waiting for me to take action by simply finding a more than one market for my book! The simple Truth is books usually are produced by a publisher and then, the publisher sells your book through the distribution wholesalers and then, wholesalers to retail stores. Therefore, the publisher knows how many books need to be published and the amount of inventory needed for sales! Now, I have all inventory of the book, "Beloved, I Love You" which is amazing! Because when I purchased my book, I said to God, "Why should I buy so many of my own books titled, "Beloved, I Love You"? I do not understand the purpose, since the publisher distributes my book to wholesalers and retail sellers in the nation and worldwide. But I will follow your plan God, even though I do not understand. I know in your time, you will show me the Plan for this book, "Beloved, I Love You"! "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have Eternal Life." John 3:16 "After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold a voice out of the heavens said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matthew 3:16-17 "Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was praying, Heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of Heaven, "You are my beloved Son, in You I am well pleased. When Jesus began His ministry, Jesus Himself was about thirty years of age." Luke 3:21-23. Nuggets of Truth: "Beloved, I Love You"!

All people make mistakes and all people sin, but there is a difference between a mistake and sin. God requires people to change and become the people God desires for us to be, to come into alignment with God, we must come into agreement with God's will/plan.
A mistake is something I do undeliberately, not understanding the consequences. A mistake implies an error in judgment, done unintentional. A mistake is turning down a one way street because I did not see the sign, mistyping a word and spelling the wrong word, loaning a person money without a loan agreement signed by both loaner and recipient on stipulations of repayment plan. Mistakes are not against God.Sin is against God and I intentionally sin. I know the consequences of sin is death to a relationship, emotionally, spiritually, or physically. Sin is when I know something is wrong and I know it is against God and choose to do it anyway. Sin is more than a mistake, sin is a deliberate choice to do something wrong, when I know the right thing to do. I choose to deliberately sin against God. "Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and doesn't do it, to him/her it is sin." James 4:17 An easy definition of sin: I know the right thing to do and choose not to do the right thing, which is sin. "For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. Romans 3:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free Gift of God is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 It's important to acknowledge mistakes and be honest about sin: (1) Choose My words carefully. Do not ever minimize my sin by calling it a mistake. Call Sin, sin by agreeing with God about my behavior. Say the same thing God says about my sin and stop calling what I did a mistake, when it's sin. A Promise is not a sin, unless I break my promise. The exact reason God can never sin, God Keeps all His Promises and never breaks a promise. (2) Take responsibility for my sinful behavior and own it. If I make a mistake, own that too. If someone provokes me, I am responsible for my response. If the other person is 90% responsible, accept 100% responsibility for my 10%. When it comes to sin, there is never a legitimate excuse. Why? God does not excuse sin, but requires me to confess and repent of my sin and change directions and stop going in the direction of sin. God never leads me in the direction of Sin, but away from sin. "For godly sorrow produces repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death." 2 Corinthians 7:10 Nuggets of Truth: Being truly sorry fills a heart with godly sorrow, leads to repentance with salvation without regrets and a change in behavior. God changes your heart's desire to His heart's desires for your life. "Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the Day of Judgment and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority." 2 Peter 2:9-10 Nuggets of Truth: :"If your seeking to live a godly life, run from the temptation of the lust of the flesh to relieve your hunger need for acceptance love, belonging, security and purpose which only God can fulfill those hunger needs. "We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the power of the wicked one.." 1 John 5:19 Nuggets of Truth: I am God's adopted daughter, a child of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. And I also know any lie that is told by any person in the world is under the sway of the wicked one, satan whose sole purpose is to kill, steal and destroy life. "The one who says, 'I have come to know Him,' and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the Truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His Word, in him the Love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked." Nuggets of Truth: Do you profess to be a Christian and say, "Yeah or Yes, I am a Christian and do not keep God's commandments or instructions, then, you are really a liar and do not possess the Truth who is Jesus. If a person knows and follow God's Word, this person has been perfected by the Love of God and are living or abiding in God and walk the same way Jesus walked. (3) Acknowledge my guilt, a symptom of sin because sin causes guilty feelings. Guilt is a gift from God to me for the purpose of bringing me into agreement and alignment with God that I have sinned. I need to reconcile with God and any other person I have affected by my sin. The sooner I recognize my responsibility, the sooner I resolve the problem. Unresolved problems show you are not seeking God's wisdom for solutions. When your confessing your sins to God or another person, do not use the word but. The word but, negates everything I said before. But is an excuse word a person uses to excuse themselves from responsibility for what they have done in the past and instead place blame on the other person for their problem. This is wrong and sin. (4) Choose to change my behavior. Words can be cheap! When a person is adept at saying, "I am sorry," but they do not make needed changes. Repentance involves a change in mind and behavior involving wrongful conduct and direction. Unless a person's behavior changes, there is no repentance, no matter how many times they promise to do something, apologize or shed tears. The person needs to cease from wrongful conduct and choose to live a God honoring life or godly life and do what they say. (5) Ask for Forgiveness. A person cannot demand forgiveness from another person. No person is entitled to forgiveness from another person. A person can only ask and hope the person you sinned against will extend the grace of forgiveness to you. But it's their choice. "So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother/sister has something against you, leave your gift at the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother/sister and then, come and offer your gift." Nuggets of Truth: God is not interested in any offering gift or charity gift from you if one of His beloved children has something against you. First you need to reconcile with the person who has something against you and then, offer your offering gift at the altar. "The person may choose to wait until you have manifested fruit of repentance as God requires. "Therefore, bear fruit in keeping with repentance; and do not suppose you can say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father; for I say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children to Abraham.'' Matthew 3:8 "So as those who have been chosen of God, Holy and Beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you." Colossians 3:12-13 Nuggets of Truth: Beloved children of God are instructed to put on/claim God's heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord God forgives me, I should forgive." This comment was said to me by friend online yesterday. "Why are you always talking to me about Jesus when I am a Christian." This person's comment deeply troubled my spirit. Although I tried to overlook the comment, I simply could not! Therefore, I knew, I needed more time with the Lord God this beautiful Sunday morning, and not anything more than time with Him! I chose not attend church yesterday morning, but stayed home to pursue the Lord God and later attended church last night. Problem defined by professed Christian friend: "I am always talking about Jesus." I inquired of the Lord God, "Is this really true of me? Yes or No? "Lord, do I always talk about you to this friend?" I knew in my heart the answer was no because the Holy Spirit testifies in my spirit the answer, No. I talk about Jesus, but I also talk about other things with this friend. Therefore, the word always, changes the significance of this statement from containing solely truth, but this statement also contains the truth and a lie, the very essence of the definition of deception. Truth: I talk about Jesus. Lie: I always talk about Jesus. "Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good. But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed, and do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always ready to make a defense to everyone who ask you to give an account for the Hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; and keep a good conscience so that in the thing you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame. For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right than for doing what is wrong." 1 Peter 3:13-17 (NASB) Nuggets of Truth: I am instructed to be zealous for good. If I do experience suffering because of right behavior, I am blessed. Do not fear people who try to intimidate me, and choose not to be troubled. Welcome Christ into my heart as Lord every waking day. Always be ready to make a defense to everyone who ask me why I have Hope. I am instructed to tell them with gentleness and deep respect for Jesus that Hope is a person, Jesus, the very flesh and blood beloved Son of God and Son of Man. Jesus occupies first place in my life, my thoughts, my words, and my actions! Therefore, any person who slanders my good behavior in Christ will be reviled and put to shame. Jesus is the filter in my life. Jesus daily seeks to filter through my desires and thoughts that did not originate from Him! This is the very reason when I answer, the words affect my future because only God knows my future and has the answers. I have no answer about my future without God. If I do have an answer and I have not turned over my tongue to God, it's simply my answer. "The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are clean in his own sight, but the Lord weighs the motives. Commit your works to the Lord and your plans will be established. The Lord has made everything for its own purpose, even the wicked for the day of evil. Everyone who is proud in his heart is an abomination to the Lord; assuredly He will not go unpunished. By loving kindness and truth iniquity is atoned for, and by fear of the Lord, one keeps away from evil. When a man's ways are pleasing to the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be a peace with him. Better a little with righteousness than great income with injustice. The mind of a man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. A divine decision is in the lips of the King, His mouth did not err in judgment. A just balance and scales belong to the Lord; all the weights of the bag are His concern." Proverbs 16:1-10 (NASB) Nuggets of Truth: God tells me that my plans originate from my heart, but when it comes to answering someone, this only comes from God Almighty. All a person's ways seem clean to them, but God weighs my motives. God is interested in my motives because my motives determine my actions. I am instructed to commit my works to the Lord that I choose so He can establish my plans. God has made everything for his own purpose even people who are wicked for the day of evil. We are living in evil days because satan and his hierarchy are still abiding on earth. Satan's goals are to steal, kill, and destroy my life. God says proud people are an abomination in His heart and will not be unpunished. Iniquity or sin is atoned for by lovingkindness and truth. Fearing the Lord keeps away evil. When a person ways are pleasing to the Lord God, even the person's enemies are at peace with Him. Better is a little income with Righteousness, than great income with injustice. Who is Just? Only Jesus is Just and He is the final Judge of every person's life declaring you guilty or not guilty. The mind of man plans their way, but the Lord directs his steps. Whoever occupies first place in my life, has authority over my life and directs my life. Anyone who really knows me as their friend, knows Jesus has authority over my life and directs my life. Since Jesus is my best friend and always 'has my back', I arise everyday ready to greet the new day. I know Jesus divine decision is without err and therefore, He is the best one to advise me. God has just balance and scales and all the weights of the bag are His concern. Therefore, I arrived at a conclusion: The problem addressed by my friend with my communication is the subject: Jesus! "For this is contained in Scripture: "Behold, I lay in Zion a choice stone, a precious cornerstone, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed." This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve, "The stone which the builders rejected has become the very cornerstone," and, "A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense"; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the Word, and to this doom they were also appointed. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a Holy nation, a people for God's own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lust which war against the soul. Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the Day of Visitation." 1 Peter 2:6-12 (NASB) People will either choose Jesus as their Cornerstone Rock or their Rock of Offense in their life. If the person chooses Jesus as their Rock of Offense, they will be offended by you talking about Jesus! It's that plain and simple. Therefore, every person has a choice about what they do with Jesus! If Jesus is truly the foundation of a person's life, they will enjoy conversations about Jesus and His work in their life because Jesus is continually at work in a believer's life. "Jesus will also confirm my life to the end of time, blameless in the Day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, through whom I was called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord." 1 Corinthians 1:8-9 (NASB) Nuggets of Truth: Jesus confirms who I am through the end of time, eternally blameless and therefore will be declared not guilty on the Day of Lord Jesus Christ but, God's adopted daughter whom He called to believe in Jesus. "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in me will perfect it until the Day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6 (NASB) Nuggets of Truth: My confidence comes from the work of God in my heart who is busy perfecting my heart to reflect His heart. "The man went away, and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. For this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath. But He answered them, 'My Father is working until now, and I myself am working.' For this reason the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He was not only breaking the Sabbath, but also calling God His Father, making Himself equal with God. Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner." John 5:15-19 (NASB) Nuggets of Truth: A man who was healed on the Sabbath by Jesus informed the Jews he was well. Since Jews did not believe in working on the Sabbath, in the Jew's eyes Jesus had broken the Sabbath rule by doing His work on the Sabbath. Jesus also told the Jews that His father God was at work and He was simply doing what He saw His father God doing.
As I pondered all these Scriptures, I realize I am not really the problem in this person's life. Jesus is the problem, not me. Jesus is either the problem or the solution in every person's life. Until a person sees Jesus is not the problem, but the solution to all their problems and possesses all the answers to their life, they really do not know who Jesus truly is! Any person who desires to limit my conversation about Jesus has a form of godliness, but has denied God's power in their own life. "Now flee from youthful lust and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing they produce quarrels. The Lord's bondservant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God would grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the Truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive to do his will. But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; avoid such men as these." 2 Timothy 2:22-26; 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NASB) The person wants to determine how they want to live life and desires for Jesus to transform Himself to fit into a person's life, but Jesus will only transform the person's life, since Jesus is perfection without sin. I believe whatever is most important to you will be brought to the forefront of your mind continually day and night. "Now I make known to you, brethern, the Gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, by which you are also saved, if you hold fast the Word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures and that He appeared to Cephas, then, to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethern at one time, most of who remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; and last of all to one untimely born, He appeared to me also. For I am the least of the apostles, and not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the Church of God. But by the grace of God, I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I will, but the Grace of God within me." 1 Corinthians 15:1-10 (NASB) Nuggets of Truth: The grace of God labors within each believer throughout the Scriptures and continues today. "Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good. But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed, and do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always ready to make a defense to everyone who ask you to give an account for the Hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; so that in the thing you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame. For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right than for doing what is wrong." 1 Peter 3:13-17 (NASB) Nuggets of Truth: Choose to be zealous for good. Do not fear people who try to intimidate me, or people who try to give me trouble. Welcome God into my heart everyday. If people ask me why I have Hope, tell them with gentleness and deep respect that Hope is a Person, Jesus, the beloved son of God who occupies first place in my life, my thoughts, my words, and my actions! Jesus is the filter of my life who seeks to filter out all my desires and my thoughts that did not originate from Him! Whoever occupies first place in my life, I will share with others. Anyone who really knows me as their friend, knows Jesus is the reason I arise everyday to greet the new day. The real problem in my communication with my friend is the subject: Jesus! If Jesus is truly the foundation of a person's life, they will enjoy conversations about Jesus and His work in their life. I believe any friend who desires to limit my conversations about Jesus has a form of godliness, but has denied God's power in their own life. This person mixes truth with lies and simply deceives themselves by their own deceptive thoughts and words. This person wants to determine how they want to live life because they are self sufficient and really do not want Jesus input. The person desires to be in control, rather than simply receive self-control only supplied by God. I believe whatever is most important to you will be brought to the forefront of your mind continually day and night by the Holy Spirit. Jesus comes to you everyday to welcome you into His presence by knocking on your heart's door. Jesus is a gentleman, He knocks, He does not barge right in, but patiently waits for you to open the door of your heart daily. If you open your heart's door, Jesus will come in and eat with you at your heart's table and share His Truth, His Way, His Life with you. Over the ensuing days, His Life will become your Life. The great exchange happens on God's schedule for each of His chosen children until their life is transformed to reflect Christ life. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20 Do you hear Him calling your name? Are you even listening for His voice? Is the noise in your life drowning out the voice of God? "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:27-30 If you claim to be a follower of Christ and you do not hear Jesus voice calling out your name who desires for you to live your live fully aware of His presence during every 24 hour day, then you need to question yourself: Do I know the living God/Jesus Christ/Holy Spirit?
Trusting God/Jesus Christ/Holy Spirit is not a one time event, but a daily choice every day of a believers' life. A believer is a person who has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and their life is characterized by the Way, the Truth, and the Life. A believer's identity is found in Jesus Christ. Identifying with Jesus Christ daily will change the way I live and cause me to rise above adversity. A believer who does not understand their identity in Jesus Christ will live far below their rights and privileges in Christ. It's normal for people to identify with someone or something in life because all people were created with the need to be connected and with the need to belong. In our everyday lives, people may choose to identify with another person, local, state or national organizations, occupation, nationality, or activities like hobbies. But, people were also created with an identity to connect spiritually. "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now life in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. I do not nullify the Grace of God, for if Righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly." Galatians 2:20-21 "But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus." Ephesians 2:4-7 Nuggets of Truth: The Bible says believers have been crucified, raised with Christ, and seated with Jesus in heavenly places and He resides inside every believer's life through the Holy Spirit. The Life I choose to live in the flesh is lived by my faith in Jesus Christ who loves me and gave His life for me. The great Grace of God exchange happened at the Cross, my life traded for Jesus Christ life to abide in me, the Righteous life of Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, many believers are having an identity crisis because they do not know who they are in Christ nor that they are seated with Christ in heaven. Instead of identifying with Christ, people choose to identify with their problems including bankruptcy, debt, divorce, health issues, or legal issues; people may also choose to identify themselves by the things they do including their career/profession, organization meetings, activities, hobbies or other interest that requires them to do something. None of these things are who the person truly is, but the things they do.
A believer who understands their identity in Christ, who they are in Him will undergo a transformation in their thinking, speech, and living. Believers need to talk about themselves the way God does and start believing He will reveal the future to us as we take the next step He reveals for us to take. The believer needs to agree with Jesus: (1) I possess the Mind of Christ 1 Corinthians 2:16 (2) I am a New Creature/New Person 2 Corinthians 5:17 (3) I am Righteous in God 2 Corinthians 5:21 (4) I am healed 1 Peter 2:24 (5) I am rich in Christ 2 Corinthians 8:9 (6) I am adopted Ephesians 1:5 (7) I am free from sin Romans 6:20-22 (8) I possess every spiritual blessing in Christ Ephesians 1:3 (9) I am chosen by Jesus Ephesians 1:4 (10) I am Holy and blameless before Jesus (11) I know God bestows His Grace on me "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters." Genesis 1:1-2. Nuggets of Truth: Simple Truth is that in the beginning God created the heavens and earth. Earth's beginning started without form and void, no form, no contents. Darkness over surface of deep, the Holy Spirit was moving over the surface of the waters. Do you hear the heartbeat of Heaven calling out your name? Do you know the Heartbeat of Heaven knows every person's name that He has ever created and will create, including your name? Why? He is the Creator God whose name is Immanuel, God with us. God/Jesus Christ/Holy Spirit are in total agreement. "So Jesus said to them, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, I Am the Door of the sheep.' I am the Door; if anyone enters through Me, he/she will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have eternal life, and have it abundantly. I am the Good Shepherd, and I know My own, and My own know Me, even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep." John 10:7, 9-11. Nuggets of Truth: Jesus is the Door entrance for His Sheep. Sheep are the saved adopted children of God who confess belief in Jesus. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy people's lives. Jesus came to lay down His life for the sheep and give eternal life and life abundantly on earth and in heaven. Jesus proclaims He is the Good Shepherd. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of my hand." John 10:27-28. Nuggets of Truth: Jesus declares God's adopted children hear Jesus' voice. Since we hear Jesus' voice we follow Him. Jesus gives Eternal Life to God's adopted children who will never perish because our life is safely in God's hand. "For all have sinned and fell short of the glory of God, being justified as a Gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith." Romans 3:23-25a Nuggets of Truth: All people are sinners without exception. Jesus died for every sinful person, but allows each person to accept or reject Him. By accepting Jesus life blood for my sins, His Holy royal blood continually purifies my life from sin as I confess and repent of my sins. I need to claim daily that I am officially redeemed from sin and filled with God's endless supply of grace. Acknowledge God allowed Jesus blood to flow through His crucifixion on the cross and became sin bearer for all sinful people through public display as propitiation or payment of sin. The word pro mean for. Propitiation in Christ blood literally delivers people who accept Jesus sacrifice of his life blood to cover their own sins as payment paid in full to Almighty God. "For they themselves report about us what kind of a reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come." 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 Nuggets of Truth: How do you receive people who enter your life and what do they report? Do they report you have turned away from idols and now serve the Living and True God? Yes or No? Are you waiting for the living Jesus to return from heaven and arrive on earth to rescue God's adopted sons and daughters from God's future wrath? Yes or No?
